Program Structure

Mutual Support is a non-profit organization that operates 4 residential care and treatment programs and one foster care program. Mutual Support programs inter-connect on many levels and as such, form the MS community. Our programs are structured to provide a continuum of care so that any child admitted to Mutual Support can receive treatment in either staff or parent-model residences, in foster care or a transitional youth residence. If a child’s needs exceed a program’s scope, an internal move to another MS program can be accommodated, with minimal disruption to the child’s social, academic, community and safety network. Each residence is licensed for 7 residents. Two of the residences are in rural areas with surrounding acreage and two are in semi-urban areas with one acre of surrounding property.
