Coordination of Internal and External Service Providers
Mutual Support is supported by the help and advice of a number of people who, though not directly involved in the day to day operation of the program, are interested and supportive of the program and its aims.
Internal
Mutual Support has a long standing partnership with:
Lidkea, Stob, Venema & Associates, who provide clinical support in all aspects of the program.
This includes:
counseling services as a part of our EAP,
one-on-one therapy for all of the residents,
advice and support for the Admin team staff in program planning,
advice and support for the case managers and residence/school supervisors in planning for the residents.
Inclusion in the Case Management Planning Team
are actively involved in the programming in the residences
actively involved in recommending and securing services for residents
Partners In Transition (Gerry Jackson)
Gerry Jackson provides services that include:
providing staff evaluations and home studies for prospective foster parents,
annual evaluations on foster parents
advice and consultation as needed.
Gerry has many years experience in the Youth Justice System and is vitally interested in the well being of Youth in Care.

The treatment team is responsible for enlisting the assistance of the appropriate persons or agencies needed to meet the goals outlined in the resident’s Plan of Care. Some of these services are fee based. In these cases, funding must be agreed upon with the Mutual Support Admin Team and the referring agency before services are accessed.
