Mutual Support employs four persons as it's Administrative Management team, ( Admin Team). These people are: Margie Hadley, Brian Hadley, Dave Schulz & Randy Klassen. The structure of authority is unilateral and is set so that no hierarchy exists at the management level.
The Management team has regular team meetings so that current issues and ideas can be discussed, approved and implemented. This type of forum guarantees maximum input and administrative solidarity. Administrative solidarity lends strength, security, and integrity to the overall program.
The Management team divides the Administrative duties in such a way that the workload is shared fairly, with each person’s area of expertise used to maximum benefit to the program as a whole. Roles performed are as follows:
Brian Hadley - Associate Director : Personnel / Training
Randy Klassen - Associate Director : Personnel / Training
The team is supported by an Office Manager, Case Management staff, and by the help and advise of a number of people who, though not directly involved in the day to day running of the program, are interested and supportive of the program and it’s aims.
Mutual Support is licensed by the Ministry of Community, Family and Children’s Services annually. To remain in operation, Mutual Support must meet or exceed Ministry guidelines in all aspects of the licensing process.
This includes:
having all children’s files up to date
having all personnel, including foster parents’ files up to date
ensuring that all inspections with regard to the homes are completed and are satisfactory (this includes, but is not limited to, inspections by the local fire and health departments)
Ministry interviews with a set percentage of both staff and children (this ensures that policies and practices are being utilized and that children’s needs are being met)
And complying with all aspects of the Child and Family Services Act.
Mutual Support is under the direct supervision of an Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS) appointed Program Supervisor. This ensures that Mutual Support is accountable for the quality of its’ program throughout the year, and that any issues arising from either party can be addressed in a timely manner.
