Non-profit status
Mutual Support was incorporated in 1982 as a non-profit corporation registered in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
Licensing
Mutual Support is licensed by the Ministry of Child and Youth Services (MCYS) annually. To remain in operation, Mutual Support must be in compliance with MCYS regulations in all aspects of the licensing process.
The licensing process includes:
Ensuring all child files meet MCYS regulations,
ensuring all staff files, including volunteers and foster parents’ files, meet MCYS regulations,
ensuring that all Public Health and Fire Code regulations pertaining to the physical plants are in compliance, and
ensuring that all policies and procedures meet MCYS regulations as well as the Child and Family Services Act.
